In this performance, the artist fuses wool skin, cigarette, and fingerprint to abstract the forces of urbanization and class ascension. Drawing on memories of a neglected childhood in rural margins, the fingerprint echoes his father's business legacy while the cigarette conjures the warmth of his grandfather's companionship. As he burns the fingerprint onto the wool skin, it becomes a poignant farewell to his former self—a transformative rite welcoming a bold, new identity.
